I'm Wouter Hinssen and I create book art for a living. I've been doing this for about 6 years now and over the years I have folded a huge amount of books. It all started when I needed a gift for my girlfriend. I was browsing the internet but could not find a great gift for her. Then I started thinking, she's an avid reader, absolutely loves books and she has a favorite word: Dream. I wanted to combine those things into a thoughtful gift. I remembered seeing a folded book once, about 15 years ago. So I decided to give that a go, there weren't any tutorials on the internet back then, so I started fooling around a bit. After a while I created a method that allowed me to fold figures and words into the pages of a book and well, the rest is history.

My girlfriend was absolutely blown away by the gift, she was speachless. Not only she was, all the guests on the party were. So it's safe to say I hit a homerun with this gift. And you can as well! Let me help you.
